An unmolested 1911A1 45ACP, manufactured by the Ithica Gun Company, Ithaca NY. * SS# 1949261, It is an Ithica Gun Company Slide on a Remington Rand Frame. Manufactured in 1944. Has the period correct FJA stamp, stands for Frank J Atwood the chief of the Rochester (NY) Ordnance district 1942-1954 Such mixing of parts was not at all uncommon in the chaos of meeting wartime demand. The gun is original in every way except for the period correct Pachmayr grips. Comes with 4 magazines, 77 mixed rounds and 66 fired brass. Also comes with an Armadillo Brand shoulder holster.
